 Yesterday's whatsapp and facebook glitch made me think about alternatives to internet communication and alternatives for social media.

And everything new is well forgotten old. So I chose IRC.

In Russia, the Russian-language IRC network is RusNet. Network settings and the address of the main server are located on the website http://www.rusnet.org.ru/info.html

IRC clients are now available for the Android mobile OS, for example, Revolution IRC, which can be downloaded from various app stores (not necessarily through Google Play): https://f-droid.org/en/packages/io.mrarm.irc/

One of the advantages of such a network is that the network does not require registration and does not require a phone number or e-mail address.
